August Chapter Meeting 2009
The August Chapter Meeting will be held at the Nusser Area of Beaumont Scout Reservation, on Monday, August 10 at 6:00 pm. The program will be shotgun shooting. In addition, the New Horizons Quartermasters will have a hot dog dinner available for purchase. The cost of the meeting will be $5, which includes both the shooting and a hot dog dinner. Don't forget to bring your Brotherhood / Beyond Brotherhood Card to be signed at the meeting. For more information, see the flyer. Have a fantastic summer, and we will see you in August! |
Section C-5C Conclave 2009
This year's Section Conclave will take place on September 25-27, at Beaumont Scout Reservation. This conclave will be the last one in the C-5C section, as the section boundaries will soon be realigned. Shawnee Lodge will be hosting the conclave, so it will be even more special for you to attend. Come to learn more about the OA in training cells, meet arrowmen from neighboring lodges, and compete against other lodges in ceremonial and dance team competitions. In addition, there are several fun games and activities being planned, so it will surely be a memorable event. Check the lodge website for more updates and a reservation form. The cost for the event is $30 by September 15, and $37 thereafter. All participants must be registered in advance of the conclave, and must provide their own camping gear and tentage. |

National Order of the Arrow Conference 2009
In 2009, the National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) will be held from August 1-6 at Indiana University. This is a thrilling event and a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the OA, meet brothers from lodges around the country, and see spectacular shows. Be on the lookout for a registration form on the Shawnee Lodge website, which should become available in August of 2008. |
